This is the 2nd book that I have read written by Joy Chambers. What a wonderful story teller.I found this one even more engaging, beautifully put together. The characters were well formed and the storyline just kept going.
She has researched her historical background to perfection and tied in all the events beautifully.
She also showed incredible knowledge about the battles in the Pacific and the real life struggles that happened so close to our country.
An amazing and compulsive read from start to end.

Congratulations to Joy chambers. I will be reading more of her books as soon as I can download them.

For Freedom is my favourite book. Joy has a wonderful way of mixing history with the story. I have learned so much about the Second World War in the Pacific through reading this book. I could not put this book down and will read it again.
I thoroughly enjoyed this gripping tale. There were so many twists and turns that I couldn't put it down.
