This story follows Hellena and Roma frrom Journey Lake as they try to make a new life together. It is set in the 1970's and like the original gets the way sexism and racism were parts of everyday life with only some starting to challenge the status quo. The novel only covers a few months but it really does give you a feel for their life. These women are in love and this book makes you feel it and believe it. It is well written and well edited with none of the problems that often plague new authors. You don't have to have read Journey Lake to appreciate this book but it why deny yoursel the pleasure.Product details
